Nahualá Top

– Materials:
80% Polyester and 20% Spandex.

– Inspiration:
-This top is inspired by the huipil (cultural textiles from Guatemala) from the
community of Nahualá. You can find on Nahuala’s huipil a woven tiger and a lion. The
lion is called ‘’the lion of wealth’’, since he is the king of the jungle, also it represents a
strong nahual of goods and wealth. The jaguar, in the Mayan Culture, it’s called ‘’man
protector’’, since it symbolizes the intervention of the jaguar, to protect the man from
the lion.
